Goverra Counters 2026: Best Counter Picks & Builds

Heroes that effectively counter Goverra in both 1v1 solo lane and full team fights: Lorion, Lauriel, Heino, Azzen’Ka, Zata, Butterfly, Billow, Riktor, Kil’Groth, Y’Bneth, Laville. These names can all attack multiple targets at once with large damage, extremely well suited to specifically punish a hero who relies on minions to fight like Goverra .

Lauriel

All of Goverra’s strengths are completely countered by Lauriel. Lauriel can easily dodge or directly wipe out all of Goverra’s minions with her wide damage area, followed by a continuous combo directly exploiting her lack of mobility, and that’s it.

Lorion

Lorion’s skills all deal area damage over a long duration, so they can fully hit both Goverra and her minions. Lorion’s playstyle is simply to fly straight in and attack, and Goverra will already be in trouble.

Heino

Heino’s spear-throw range is both longer than Goverra’s and has a piercing effect, plus extremely large damage. In the mid-game, one spear throw can nearly evaporate the whole legion along with Goverra herself.

Not to mention Heino can restore turrets, making him extremely well suited to deal with a turret-pushing specialist like Goverra.

Azzen'Ka

Butterfly

Butterfly’s closing and sticking speed is almost the most notorious in Arena of Valor Mobile, so how could a hero with near-zero mobility and squishy HP like Goverra possibly escape.

Long reach and multi-target piercing shots turn Laville into a top marksman when facing Goverra; with a few basic items you can confidently activate crowd-control immunity then shoot down both the boss and her minions.
