Lorion

Lorion ‘s kit deals continuous damage around the dark thunder orb, perfect for grinding down Goverra ‘s legion. Electromagnetic Net sends the orb flying back and forth, damaging along its path and creating slowing lightning tethers, while Darkness Falls makes the orb attack every target around it on its own, so no matter how many Steel Guardians there are, they all take hits at once. While the orb is out, Lorion can blink straight to its position, closing the gap on a Goverra who has no dash. Finish with Starry Night : after a 2-second charge, the explosion locks enemies in mid-air, enough to hold her before she can issue orders with Destruction Signal .

Heino

Goverra likes to stay outside the fight while her Steel Guardians push towers, and Heino is one of the few mages who can directly undo that progress. Destined Spacetime deploys a magic circle that grants Heino damage immunity, healing and CC immunity while channeling, so the stun from Destruction Signal can’t interrupt him. After 1.5 seconds the circle detonates, and if an allied tower is inside, it reverts to its state from 8 seconds earlier, even if it was just destroyed. In ranged form, Silver-Blue Holy Lance / Cycle of Reincarnation Strike hurls a holy spear that deals magic damage from a safe distance, letting you poke Goverra without standing in the middle of her Steel Guardians.

Azzen'Ka

Azzen'Ka grows more dangerous the more targets he faces, and Goverra ‘s Steel Guardian legion unwittingly becomes a bridge for his sand. Dust Devil bounces between enemies, so even if Goverra hides behind her Guardians, the skill can still reach her. Sand Punch knocks up and repeatedly slows an entire area; for a hero with no dash, it’s very hard to get out in time. Notably, while standing in the Sand Field, Azzen’Ka is invincible for 3 seconds, so the damage every 0.5 seconds from Destruction Signal and the Steel Guardians’ bites are all wasted during that window. Sand Wraith knocks back and creates a slowing quicksand zone to cut off her retreat.

Butterfly

Butterfly has two things that make Goverra hard to escape: speed and an ultimate that always prioritizes heroes. Backstab makes Butterfly appear behind the enemy with the lowest HP, prioritizing heroes, so the Steel Guardians can’t take the hit for their master; Butterfly also gains extra damage reduction during it. Whirlwind removes active slows and boosts movement speed, negating the slow from the two bombers of Patrol Fighter or the pulsing slow of Destruction Signal . When Goverra is taken down or you get an assist, the passive Assassin resets all cooldowns so you can keep diving the next target.

Kil'Groth

For Kil'Groth , Goverra ‘s legion is a source of free power. The passive The Fanatic grants 1 permanent physical attack each time he kills a target, so every Iron Guard he takes down makes him stronger, and his third attack has a wider range to cleave several targets at once. Enraged Spear empowers his attack and heals based on the number of targets hit, so the more Iron Guards there are, the more he heals. When stunned by Destruction Signal , Gore Lord removes all crowd control and grants CC immunity for 4 seconds, then Sea Spear dashes in and slows to catch up to her.
