Kil'Groth
Introduction to Kil'Groth
▼Kil'Groth is a Fighter in Arena of Valor who can play the Top Lane or Jungle. Kil'Groth's power comes from his basic attacks: his passive, The Fanatic, stacks attack speed with each hit, and every kill on minions, monsters, enemy heroes or towers permanently adds physical attack, so he grows stronger as the match goes on.
Sea Spear dashes forward with a spear thrust that slows the target, while Enraged Spear empowers his attacks and heals him for each target hit, letting him last in duels. His ultimate, Gore Lord, instantly fills his passive stacks, removes crowd control and makes him immune to it for a few seconds, extended further whenever he keeps hitting enemy heroes.
His health and damage are average and his difficulty is low, but with very little crowd control, Kil'Groth has to chase targets down with movement speed and attack speed. Below is a roundup of the item build, Arcana, Enchantments, summoner spells, combos, skill usage and phase-by-phase play for Kil'Groth.

How to Play Kil'Groth in the Early Game
In the early game,
Kil'Groth
is fairly strong with big basic-attack damage and strong healing, so play proactively.
Stay close to the enemy hero and basic attack to farm minions; watch for your 3rd basic attack and land it on the enemy hero or the minion right next to them.
When your health drops low, activate Skill 2
Enraged Spear
and swing continuously to heal; if you have enough damage, dash in with Skill 1
Sea Spear
to crowd-control and finish the enemy.
How to Play Kil'Groth in the Mid Game
In the mid game, focus on
Kil'Groth
‘s strength: split pushing and coordinating with allies to secure Dragon and Caesar.
Since this hero’s stats are strong in small-scale fights but weak at ganking due to lacking a pick tool, only join fights when convenient.
In a fight, prioritize attacking low-mobility enemy heroes to make the most of this hero’s strength.
How to Play Kil'Groth in the Late Game
By the late game, you can still split push, but don’t move too far from your allies so you can quickly return for a full team fight.
Don’t dive straight into a full team fight, since you’ll easily get deleted — hold a backward position and attack enemies who try to dive in.
When you see the enemy’s core damage dealer push up and expose themselves, use Skill 3
Gore Lord
for crowd-control cleanse and immunity, then dive in with everything to take down the enemy marksman.
When the late-game Dragon and Caesar spawn, secure them quickly to greatly increase your chances of winning.
