Rourke

Butterfly has to get close to deal damage, and close range is exactly where Rourke is strongest. When she appears behind him with Backstab , Rourke activates Determination . He gains a shield and is immune to CC while it holds. He also gains physical attack and armor for 6 seconds, and each of his attacks adds more to the shield. Each shot from Scattershot reduces the target’s armor, stacking up to 12 times. Whirlwind can cleanse the slow from Charged Shot , so use the knockback from Bolt to keep your distance instead of relying only on slows.

Murad

Backstab forces Butterfly to lock onto a target, but Murad has two ways to avoid being targeted: throughout Temporal Turbulence and at the moment Another Dimension activates, Murad can’t be attacked or targeted. Time it right as she dives in so her combo hits empty air. Thorn of Time dashes forward and stuns up to 3 times, and this is CC she can’t cleanse; the third dash also returns Murad to his starting point if he needs to retreat. The edge of Another Dimension still reduces armor for 3 seconds even if Butterfly uses Whirlwind to remove the slow.

Allain

Allain is tanky and has crowd control, the two things that make it hard for Butterfly to secure kills. The passive Howling Sword grants armor and magic penetration on every hit and heals him after enough hits. That keeps Allain from easily dropping low enough to become the lowest-HP target for Backstab . Meteor Strike deals damage over multiple hits and knocks up, which Whirlwind can’t cleanse. Once Butterfly has used up her skills, Death at Sunset makes Allain vanish and locks her down for 1.5 seconds. He then slams down, dealing true damage in an area to finish her off.

Bonnie

Butterfly likes to lurk in bushes waiting for low-HP targets, and Bonnie ‘s Golden Rabbit Strike ruins that plan right away. The golden rabbit stays out for a while and sends out lightning pulses that reveal enemies. When she dives in, Red Rabbit Bind roots her, and Whirlwind can’t cleanse roots because it only removes slows. Purple Rabbit Roar then pulls enemies to the center and explodes, stunning them. This CC chain holds Butterfly still long enough for Bonnie’s teammates to take her down before Assassin can reset her cooldowns.

Raz

Butterfly has no way to become immune to CC, so Raz ‘s combo can drag her almost anywhere. Rising Uppercut dashes in with an uppercut that knocks up, and Explosive KO charges forward and knocks back anyone it hits. The passive Fancy Footwork lets Raz sidestep at very high speed after each skill. Open with the knock-up, since Whirlwind can instantly cleanse the slow from Power Surge . If you knock Butterfly away from your carry right after she uses Backstab , her whole three-dash chain is wasted.

Thane

Thane is the kind of support that leaves Butterfly not knowing where to start. When she appears behind your carry with Backstab , Avalon's Fury plunges his sword into the ground, knocking back and slowing every enemy in range, while Valiant Charge charges forward, repeatedly pushing enemies back before knocking them away at the end. Once Butterfly has been worn down, Excalibur deals true damage plus 15% of her missing HP as physical damage, and Thane gains 20% damage reduction and becomes unstoppable while casting. His passive Royal Power heals him when his HP drops low, so she can’t easily kill him to reset her cooldowns.

Enzo

Enzo holds Butterfly in place with effects that Whirlwind can’t remove. Judgment charges up a sickle swing, then binds the first enemy hit as the sickle is retracted, while Amputate dashes forward and pulls the target toward Enzo. This lets you drag Butterfly away from your marksman right after she uses Backstab , or pull her into the middle of your team. While a target is under Judgment, Decapitate lets Enzo strike from right behind the victim, and he takes reduced damage while moving.
