How to Combo Rourke

Basic Combo

  • Charged Shot 1
  • Bolt 2
  • Determination 3
  • Basic Attack

Basic Rourke Rourke combo:

  • Use Skill 1 Charged Shot Charged Shot for a big movement speed boost
  • Close the distance to the enemy to use Skill 2 Bolt Bolt to charge in for damage and knock back the target.
  • Activate Skill 3 Determination Determination for crowd-control resistance, then stay close to the enemy while basic attacking to burst damage and boost your shield’s value.

Since Rourke Rourke must close in on the enemy to deal significant damage, skillfully circle around to cut them off or suddenly dash out of a bush for an easier kill.

How to Use Rourke's Skills Effectively

  • When attacking, try to basic attack continuously to stack armor reduction on the enemy up to 12 times, dealing increasingly more damage.
  • If you want to burst damage, run close to the target before shooting to trigger a crit plus the on-hit effect.
  • Activate this skill for a big movement speed boost to close in on the enemy for a burst from passive Scattershot Scattershot , or when you need to escape danger.
  • After using this skill, try to get close enough to the enemy so all 4 arrows hit, slowing them.
  • Try to dash and land it on the enemy hero for damage, knockback, and a 2-second cooldown reduction.
  • Use this skill to close in and burst the enemy or escape, and note it can cross terrain.
  • If you’re crowd-controlled in a dangerous situation, activate Skill 3 immediately to break free.
  • You also gain crowd-control immunity for as long as the damage shield remains.
  • The more damage you deal to a target, the more the shield’s value increases, so attack continuously while this skill is active.

How to Play Rourke in the Early Game

In the early game, focus on clearing your jungle as fast as possible to reach level 4 early and buy some basic items.

Use the movement speed from Skill 1 Charged Shot Charged Shot and the dash from Skill 2 Bolt Bolt continuously to move fast between jungle camps for faster farming — note that you can dash through walls.
