To counter Dirak in 1v1 solo lane, pick heroes like Liliana, Iggy, Kahlii — mages with a longer reach who can attack through Arcane Body . In team fights, Dirak fears heroes who can close in and burst damage, like Yena, Yan, Maloch.

With a much longer reach, Liliana easily gains the upper hand in skill trades against Dirak, and with her mobility and burst damage, this hero can easily escape the pressure from his orb barrages and burst him down instead.
