Introduction to Tulen
▼Tulen is a Mage in Arena of Valor who can play the Mid Lane or the Jungle, dishing out magic damage with lightning. Every skill that lands gives Tulen a Thunderclap mark; once he has enough marks, he unleashes a barrage of lightning bolts around himself.
His first skill fires three bolts forward, and his second skill lets him blink up to three times in a row, dealing damage at both the starting point and the destination while heavily slowing enemies hit repeatedly. His ultimate, Thunderbird, can be cast while moving and sends an electric bird at the target; if the bird directly takes down an enemy hero, his passive triggers instantly and the ultimate's cooldown is greatly reduced.
Tulen's magic damage is among the highest and his difficulty is moderate, but low health and crowd control limited to slows mean he has to rely on mobility to survive. How to Use Tulen's Skills Effectively
- Watch the passive gauge located below
Tulen
‘s health bar.
- Use skills to build up passive stacks, up to a maximum of 5.
- Use the lightning ring created by the passive to clear minions and monsters quickly or attack nearby enemy heroes by moving close to the target.
- Use this skill to poke enemies, clear minions quickly, check bushes, or contest objectives.
- Depending on the situation, you can close in on the target first to land more lightning bolts for greater damage and faster passive stacking

- Each hit on a target stacks 1 passive charge

From a safe distance, fire Skill 1

. When you are close to 5 stacks, blink in with Skill 2
Lightning Strike
and cast Skill 3

on a low-HP target; the electric bird grants one more stack, so the passive triggers right away and 5 bolts strike the heroes around you. Then blink out with Skill 2 again; enemies hit by Skill 2 repeatedly within 5 seconds are also slowed by a decaying 90%. If the bird directly kills an enemy hero, Skill 3’s cooldown is greatly reduced, so repeat on the next target.

Entering the early game, if you’re jungling, start with the blue buff first since

costs energy to use skills.
