• If you’re ahead and want more damage, you can build Fenrir's Tooth in your 5th item slot and drop an unnecessary survivability item.
• If facing an enemy with strong sustain, build Curse of Death early to counter their healing.
• If you want to play as a support, just build one support item first and buy the rest of your items the same as you would for top lane.

Basic Tachi combo:

• Use Skill 1 Moon Pierce to deal damage and slow the target.
• Dash in with Skill 2 Browbeat , keep landing basic attacks, and move around the enemy to trigger the passive marks Spellbound .
• After activating all 4 marks, use Skill 1 Moon Pierce to burst the enemy.

Use Skill 3 Dragon Shatter wisely to dodge important enemy skills, as well as to immediately unlock the passive seal Spellbound .

Passive Spellbound :

• Skillfully move around the enemy while attacking them to activate the 4 marks beneath your feet.
• Each time a mark lights up you gain healing and bonus movement speed, so use this to hold the lane and chase enemies more effectively.
• Keep attacking once all 4 marks are activated to make the most of the bonus attack speed, the shield gained, and the pure damage dealt.
• You can also activate the passive marks Spellbound by attacking buffs or Dragon and Caesar.

Skill 1 Moon Pierce :

• Use this skill’s long range to slow, poke, or clear minions quickly from a distance.
• Once all 4 marks are stacked, this skill will charge up briefly before dealing greater damage.
• You can use the charge-up window to dodge enemy crowd control.
• Landing 3 basic attacks on a target before using this skill deals bonus damage to them.

Skill 2 Browbeat :

• Use the terrain-crossing dash to close in and chase, or to escape dangerous situations.
• Once all 4 marks beneath your feet are stacked, keep landing basic attacks to reduce Skill 2’s cooldown.

Skill 3 Dragon Shatter :

• You can activate Skill 3 early to gain all 4 marks and immediately unlock the seal Spellbound .
• Use this skill in the middle of the enemy formation to hit as many targets as possible.
• Take advantage of the crowd-control and damage immunity while leaping to dodge incoming damage and control effects from the enemy.

Entering the match, if you’re playing Tachi in the top lane, play actively, keep trading skills with the enemy, and use the healing from activating the passive marks Spellbound to gain an advantage.

If jungling, keep attacking while moving around the jungle monster to activate the marks, and use Skill 2 Browbeat to dash through camps and complete your jungle route faster.

By the mid game, Tachi is fairly strong, so actively rotate lanes to gank, pick off isolated enemies, open fights, and help teammates push towers and take major objectives.

You can basic-attack jungle monsters to activate the marks Spellbound first so you can unlock the seal faster when entering a fight, then use Skill 1 Moon Pierce to hit multiple targets at once.

Also use Skill 2 Browbeat wisely to pick off isolated enemies and engage or disengage fights appropriately.

In the late game, focus on moving with your teammates to open fights and act as a living shield for your team.

Always move at the front line to block damage for your allies while waiting for the right moment when the enemy clusters together, then use Skill 3 Dragon Shatter to dive in for wide-area damage while cornering the enemy formation, creating an opening for your team’s carry to deal damage.

Then keep comboing to stick to the enemy marksman, trying to secure the kill, or at least disrupting the enemy carry so they have no chance to deal damage.
