How to Combo Preyta

Basic Combo

  • Toxic Breath 1

Basic Preyta Preyta combo:

  • Use Skill 1 Toxic Breath Toxic Breath to empower your basic attacks. This increases attack speed and range so you can poke enemies from a distance.
  • Then use Skill 2 Necrotic Bomb Necrotic Bomb to place a magic circle that deals damage, slows, and knocks enemies airborne after 1 second.
  • While the enemy is airborne, charge Skill 3 Plague Plague to fire three shockwaves at them, then reactivate Skill 1 Toxic Breath Toxic Breath once it’s off cooldown.
  • In teamfights, keep using Skill 2 Necrotic Bomb Necrotic Bomb to keep targets within Skill 1’s Toxic Breath Toxic Breath range, and keep basic attacking to stack Plague.

How to Use Preyta's Skills Effectively

  • Each time a skill hits an enemy, it adds a Plague stack that deals damage over time. At 3 stacks, it explodes and deals area damage.
  • When his skills hit enemy heroes or when he kills minions and jungle monsters, Preyta gains Plague Energy, which increases his Magic Power and permanently evolves his skills. The more energy he has, the stronger his skills get, so farm diligently and poke often to build it up.
  • Activate to empower your basic attacks for 4 seconds. This grants bonus attack speed, attack range and movement speed, and every third basic attack deals area damage.
  • At 25 Plague stacks, all later empowered basic attacks deal area damage.
  • Use the movement speed from this skill to kite and stay at a safe distance, then combine it with Skill 3 Plague Plague to poke enemies from range.
  • Use this skill’s wide area damage to clear waves quickly or to hit multiple targets in chaotic teamfights.
  • Creates a magic circle that damages and slows enemies. After 1 second, it deals damage again and knocks them airborne. In teamfights, place it in the enemies’ path or where they are grouped up. At 75 Plague Energy stacks, the skill’s area increases.

How to Play Preyta in the Early Game

Preyta Preyta needs time to scale, so in the early game you should focus on farming minions and saving gold to buy your core items.

Skill 1 gives movement speed, but this hero has no dash or blink. Avoid wandering alone near the river if you think enemies might be there.

Only help your teammates when it’s really needed, and move carefully, since Preyta Preyta is always a favorite target for enemy ganks.

How to Play Preyta in the Mid Game

By mid game, Preyta Preyta starts to come online, and his damage goes up significantly.

At this point, use the bonus Magic Power from the Plague Energy of his passive Plague Dragon Plague Dragon to join small skirmishes and help your team.
