Heroes that counter Annette while laning include: Baldum, Chaugnar, Wisp, Laville, Brunhilda, Fennik, Zata, Florentino — these are heroes with crowd-control resistance, strong tankiness, or very long range, who can strike straight at the enemy carry and make it very hard for Annette to corner and shield her teammates.

Baldum

When Annette activates her ultimate Hurricane Wall to push your team back, Baldum can immediately slam his Earth Prison down on your carry or on Annette herself, then close in ready to finish them off.

Or he can bury Annette alone to stop her from disrupting the fight. Baldum’s also tanky enough to play aggressively and force Annette to use her ultimate defensively first, costing her the chance to peel for her marksman.

Chaugnar

Chaugnar’s Abyssal Rift ultimate cleanses crowd control and grants movement speed, buffing the whole team so they can easily push through Annette’s wind wall.

When Annette pushes your team back, Chaugnar just needs to activate his ultimate and the whole squad won’t be knocked back — they’ll charge straight through the wind ring and close in on the enemy carry.
