Jinnar
Introduction to Jinnar
▼Jinnar is a Mage who plays Mid Lane in Arena of Valor. Unlike many mages that poke from afar, Jinnar likes to get close and deal sustained magic damage at short range, and he can heal himself to stay in fights longer.
Battering Beads throws a string of beads that bounces between nearby enemies and heals him whenever it hits a hero, while his second skill dashes forward, slows enemies around him, heals him based on the number of heroes hit, and grants damage reduction and slow immunity. His ultimate, Nirvana, surrounds him with orbiting relics that deal damage in waves and grant damage reduction that grows with each nearby enemy hero, plus a brief burst of movement speed.
With very high damage, decent health for a mage and low difficulty, Jinnar is easy to play even for beginners; the downside is limited crowd control, mostly just slows. This guide includes the item build, Arcana, Enchantments, summoner spells, combos, how to use Jinnar's skills and how to play through each phase of the match.

How to Play Jinnar in the Early Game
In the early game,
Jinnar
‘s paper-thin health and poor mobility make her an easy hunting target, so avoid wandering alone into the river area.
Keep a safe distance from enemy heroes and use Skill 1
Battering Beads
to poke and clear minions from range.
If an enemy closes in, use Skill 2
Sutra of Pain
to slow them and retreat.
How to Play Jinnar in the Mid Game
Once you’ve reached level 4 and have Skill 3
Nirvana
,
Jinnar
becomes much stronger.
Clear minions fast at mid, then rotate to join fights and organize securing major objectives. Since this hero’s mobility is fairly low, it’s best to move with your jungler for more effective ganks.
Use Skill 3
Nirvana
to dive in and open fights, creating an opening for your allies to unload damage.
How to Play Jinnar in the Late Game
By the late game, always move with your allies to be ready for a fight breaking out at any moment.
Move around to poke with Skill 1
Battering Beads
; once you see the enemy formation clustered together, immediately use Skill 3
Nirvana
to dive in and burst them.
Move as deep into the enemy formation as possible, since the more enemy heroes around you, the more damage immunity
Jinnar
gains and the more damage she deals.
Watch the clock so you can retreat in time before Skill 3’s
Nirvana
duration ends.
