About Evita
▼Evita is a Mage in Arena of Valor who plays in the Mid lane, grouping enemies up and then unloading area magic damage. Her kit revolves around the Abyssal Beast: her Passive, Umbral Origin, builds up dark energy over time, and once it is full, her next skill that hits a target summons the Abyssal Beast to charge in, dealing damage and granting her a shield.
Hand of Abyss creates a rift that slows enemies and knocks up those in the center, Abyssal Assault launches the Abyssal Beast to explode into energy bolts, and Umbral Cloak grants a shield and slows, then lets the Abyssal Beast seek targets on its own, reducing magic defense and granting another shield with every hit. Evita is strong when she stays behind her teammates and lands her skills accurately, but she has no dash, so she is very vulnerable to divers.
You can build her full damage or go a semi magic lifesteal route to last longer. This page covers Evita's build, Arcana, Enchantments, summoner spells, skill order, combos and how to play Evita in every stage of the match.

How to Use Evita's Skills Effectively
How to play Evita in the early game
In the early game,
Evita
should stand behind the minions and use skill 1
Abyssal Assault
to clear the wave and poke opponents when they step up to last-hit. Skill 2
Hand of Abyss
has a delay, so only use it when the opponent is blocked by minions or has just been hit by your jungler’s crowd control. Evita has no dash, so stay in a safe position, watch the bushes on both sides of the mid lane and back off when the Dragon lane or Dark Slayer lane reports a missing enemy hero. Once you have skill 3
Umbral Cloak
, proactively help the side lanes together with your jungler: the shield and slow from your ultimate make ganks much safer.
How to Play Evita in the Mid Game
Mid game is when
Evita
‘s area burst damage really shines. Group with your team to contest the Abyssal Dragon and Dark Slayer, stand behind your frontline and wait for the enemy to clump together before casting skill 2
Hand of Abyss
. When the rift knocks up multiple targets, immediately follow up with skills 1 and 3 so the Chaos Fiend keeps hitting enemies, reducing their magic defense and shielding you. Always keep an eye on the enemy assassins: if you can’t see them on the map, hold skill 3 for self-defense instead of using it to start a fight.
How to Play Evita in the Late Game
In the late game, every teamfight can decide the match, so
Evita
needs to stay in the right position behind the tanks and never wander alone. Use
Arctic Orb
when you get dived to wait for your teammates to save you. In big teamfights, cast skill 2 into the largest group, activate skill 3 once the enemy has engaged your frontline so the Chaos Fiend dishes out damage and reduces the whole group’s magic defense, then keep using skill 1 to finish off low-HP targets.
