Blood Drinker
charges, then use Skill 1
Ghostscythe

depending on the situation, like chasing an enemy or escaping a fight.
How to Use Errol's Skills Effectively
Passive
Blood Drinker
:
- Keep basic attacking while your skills are on cooldown to take advantage of the passive’s damage, attack speed, movement speed, and cooldown reduction.
Skill 1
Ghostscythe
:
- Take advantage of this skill’s dash and slow to chase down an enemy or cross terrain to escape.
- Dash the moment an enemy hero is about to crowd-control you to gain crowd-control immunity.
- Take advantage of Skill 1’s healing to come out ahead when trading skills.
Skill 2
Boneshaver
:
- Time it for when enemy heroes are standing close together in a line, then cast it to hit multiple targets, healing more and stacking more passive
Blood Drinker
charges. - Basic attack to stack 5 passive
Blood Drinker
charges first, then cast the skill for more damage, a launch effect, and crowd-control immunity. - After hitting the enemy with Skill 2, basic attack once for extra damage from this attack.
Skill 3
Demon Claw
:
- Use this skill to resist crowd control then close in to open a fight, launching enemy heroes within range before finishing off the enemy’s core damage dealer in the fight.
- While airborne, fly
Errol
around the enemy hero to deal damage and reduce their armor, setting up a faster kill once you land. - You can also take advantage of this skill’s terrain-crossing and untargetable state to escape a fight.
How to Play Errol in the Early Game
In the early game, if you’re playing
Errol
top lane, rush to your lane fast and use Skill 2
Boneshaver
to clear the first minion wave, reaching level 2 before your opponent so you can combo for first blood.
With big damage, strong healing, and a fairly mobile kit, play proactively and pressure your opponent to create space for ganks.
If you’re playing
Errol
jungle, start with the blue buff and pull the beetle camp close to clear both at once with Skill 2’s
Boneshaver
wide range, significantly speeding up your jungle clear.
You can also attack Dragon or Caesar early with this hero’s strong damage-and-healing kit for a team advantage.
How to Play Errol in the Mid Game
In the mid game,
Errol
is fairly strong — keep rotating lanes to gank, push turrets, and attack major objectives with your allies.
Skillfully use Skill 2
Boneshaver
to launch multiple enemy heroes to open a fight for your team, then use Skill 3
Demon Claw
to dive in and attack the enemy’s core damage dealer.
This combo is also very effective for contesting Dragon and Caesar, so use it well.
How to Play Errol in the Late Game
In the late game, play a bit more carefully. If there’s an opening, split push a turret, but the moment a fight looks imminent, move to your team right away.
In a fight, hold your position and wait for a good moment to use Skill 3
Demon Claw
to fly up and dodge crowd control, circle around to poke the enemy, then land to finish off their core damage dealer.
