How to Play Mganga

How to Combo Mganga

Basic Mganga combo:

  1. Use Skill 1 Toxic to slow and apply passive Voodoo to the enemy.
  2. Use Skill 2 Feeling Lucky then basic attack continuously for extra damage and to keep stacking the passive.
  3. Once the enemy has 4 or 5 passive stacks, activate Skill 3 Gas Attack to detonate and burst them down.

Note: if you have enough damage calculated, or the opponent is about to leave the skill’s range, activate Skill 3 Gas Attack immediately rather than waiting to stack more passive Voodoo charges.

How to Use Mganga's Skills Effectively

Passive Voodoo :

  • Play a grinding style with the enemy to unlock this passive’s full potential.
  • The more times you attack the target, the more damage, magic resist reduction, and healing reduction stacks up, up to 5 times (watch the counter above the enemy’s head).

Skill 1 Toxic :

  • Use this skill’s slow to kite the enemy better and stack more passive Voodoo charges.
  • When you want to burst the enemy, it’s more effective to wait for 3 cooldown cycles first.

Skill 2 Feeling Lucky :

  • Take advantage of this skill’s slow, just like Skill 1 Toxic .
  • Try to land it on a target multiple times (minions and monsters count too) to stack self-healing up to 5 times (watch the counter above Mganga ‘s head).
  • You can cast this skill into a bush — if a number appears above your head, someone is definitely hiding there.

Skill 3 Gas Attack :

  • Use this skill to trigger all the passive Voodoo stacks on the enemy for a massive instant burst, surprising them.
  • Note: use it while the enemy is still within the skill’s range, or it won’t work.
  • The more healing stacks above Mganga ‘s head, the bigger the shield when using Skill 3.

How to Play Mganga in the Early Game

In the early game, focus on farming minions and trading skills with your opponent effectively; avoid ganking alone since Mganga lacks mobility and a pick tool.

While laning, play a poke-and-grind style to optimize this hero’s damage and sustained healing.

You just need to hold a safe position, wait for the enemy to push up, then cast a skill to poison them, draining their health gradually, while spamming Skill 2 Feeling Lucky to heal continuously — that’s enough to force the opponent to recall repeatedly.

How to Play Mganga in the Mid Game

By the mid game, keep applying pressure on the mid lane to take the turret, then move to attack other lanes or ping your allies to secure Dragon and Caesar.

In a fight, always stay not too far from your allies, continuously stacking poison on your opponent and healing yourself with Skill 2’s Feeling Lucky passive.

Once you have enough damage to secure the kill, or an ally is in a dangerous spot, immediately activate Skill 3 Gas Attack to burst while healing your team.

How to Play Mganga in the Late Game

By the late game, when you see Dragon and Caesar appear, ping your allies to attack them right away to secure important buffs, since Mganga bursts down major objectives very quickly.

Then keep moving with your allies for full team fights; watch and keep distance from high-damage enemy heroes to avoid getting burst down before you can do anything.

Hold a safe position while quickly stacking poison on the enemy and healing stacks on yourself, then time your Skill 3 Gas Attack activation sensibly.
