Introduction to Biron

Biron is a top-lane fighter hero in Arena of Valor with the ability to dive in, stun, and deal damage over time to his target. Biron was once a warrior trained under iron discipline, with a strong and relentless fighting style. On the battlefield, Biron stands out for his high durability, constant chasing, and cornering marksmen in fights. With enough items, he becomes the spearhead who opens fights, creating space for allies to unload damage and control the pace of the match effectively.

How to Play Biron

Biron Combo Guide

  • First, basic attack and land skills on minions, monsters, or enemy heroes to build your inner-energy bar to red first.
  • Move close, then dash with Skill 2 Storm Assault to close in on the enemy, then basic attack once to launch and crowd-control the target.
  • Activate Skill 3 Magnetic Gravity to deal damage and slow the enemy while gaining a shield and increased movement speed for yourself.
  • Finally, use Skill 1 Electric Mace Strike combined with basic attacks to burst down the target.

How to Use Biron's Skills Effectively

Passive Battle Without Retreat :

  • Always watch the inner-energy bar under Biron ‘s health bar, since this hero’s playstyle revolves mainly around building up inner energy.
  • Always stack inner energy as much as possible by landing basic attacks and skills on the enemy (empowered skills don’t grant extra inner energy) before engaging the enemy.
  • Once the inner-energy bar starts turning red, your basic attacks deal extra damage and heal you, and your skills become empowered.

Skill 1 Electric Mace Strike :

  • This is a great tool for clearing minions fast, hitting multiple enemy heroes at once, and healing yourself
  • Use Skill 1 in tight terrain to more easily hit multiple targets
  • Empowered: deals more damage and heals more (only half effective on minions or monsters).

Skill 2 Storm Assault :

  • Take good advantage of its terrain-crossing dash to close in on the enemy or escape a fight.
  • After dashing, basic attack once for extra damage plus crowd control on the target.
  • Empowered: the empowered basic attack deals extra damage, stuns, launches, and slows the target, but costs 30 inner energy, so when not necessary just dash without basic attacking.

Skill 3 Magnetic Gravity :

  • When activated, it deals damage, slows the enemy, and creates a shield for yourself.
  • Empowered: greatly increases the damage dealt and shield gained while also stealing movement speed from all targets for 2.5 seconds.
  • Use this skill when picking off stragglers, outplaying the enemy, and it’s especially effective in large team fights with its wide effective range.

How to Play Biron in the Early Game

Biron is an attack-oriented fighter hero with big damage, strong healing, and fairly good durability, making him very strong in the early and mid game.

Biron is usually the stronger side in a lot of matchups, so take advantage of that by going the Abyssal Lane and playing proactively, applying constant pressure on your opponent to secure a kill, or at least create space to swap lanes and help other lanes.

Jungle is also a solid choice, with fast camp clearing that boosts your gold and level, setting up for continuous ganks.

How to Play Biron in the Mid Game

In the mid game, Biron ‘s job is still to make full use of his power advantage to keep applying pressure on the enemy team by clearing minions fast then pushing turrets, opening fights, and securing major objectives like Dragon and Abyssal Dragon for a resource edge for your team.

While ganking, aim for squishy, immobile enemy heroes so a simple 2-skill combo is enough to send them to the kill feed, both boosting your KDA and slowing their power progression, creating an unbalanced game state your team can snowball to end the match as soon as possible.

How to Play Biron in the Late Game

If the match drags on to the late game, Biron ‘s power drops off significantly, since although this hero’s damage is still very high, enemy heroes usually already have life-saving items, making it much harder to close in and finish them off quickly like in earlier phases.

On top of that, Biron ‘s kit has no crowd-control immunity, so when a full team fight breaks out, patiently wait for your allies to open the fight first, and once the enemy no longer has hard crowd control ready, quickly move in or use Flicker to dive in and activate Skill 3 Magnetic Gravity in the middle of the enemy formation, then unload your remaining skills on the enemy’s core damage dealer.
