How to Play Ata

How to Play Ata in the Early Game

In the early game, if you’re playing Ata support, move quickly to mid to help your mid laner farm fast and create space for them to gank early.

Next, you can move into the enemy jungle to harass and control the enemy jungler’s movements — if there’s a good opportunity, ping your ally to steal a buff or secure a kill, then return to support your AD.

While laning, take advantage of the strong sustain from your passive Child of the Sea to trade skills continuously and hold a forward position to pressure the enemy while soaking damage and creating space for your ally.

How to Play Ata in the Mid Game

By the mid game, Ata becomes fairly tanky and annoying with his kit.

If your marksman is already tanky enough to solo or has another support, actively rotate to control the map, help allies gank, push lanes, and secure major objectives to build an advantage for your team.

How to Play Ata in the Late Game

By the late game, Ata ‘s main job is to control enemy positioning well to pick off stragglers or open fights.

With Ata ‘s kit, it’s best to lure the enemy into a fight in tight terrain, or use Skill 3 Ghost Ship to create that terrain yourself, setting up for Skill 2 Sea Anchor to gather enemies together and stun multiple enemy heroes at once.

Skillfully use Skill 3 Ghost Ship depending on the situation to create a wall that splits the enemy formation, corners and blocks the enemy’s core damage dealer, or protects your own core damage dealer (plan carefully when using this skill, or a bad placement could trap your own team instead).
