Basic attacks that hit stack 1 point of Veres’s Blood Chain passive; at 4 stacks, Veres unleashes Blood Chain, attacking all nearby enemies and dealing physical damage; hitting an enemy hero restores some of the damage dealt as HP. Additionally, this reduces the cooldown of Twin Chains & Shackle Chain by 1 second, and Death Chain by 2 seconds. Furthermore, while unleashing Blood Chain, Veres can move freely and gains crowd-control removal plus immunity.
