Zuka Item Build Notes
- If you’re confident and want to play a full-damage build, build
Soulreaver
instead of
Leviathan
. - If the enemy team is all squishy heroes, build
Rankbreaker
instead of
Spear of Longinus
to optimize damage. - If the enemy is too tanky, build
Muramasa
and drop

Zuka Gameplay Guide
How to Combo Zuka
- Dash in with Skill 2
Panda Chariot
to close in on the target and land one basic attack to knock the enemy up. - Activate Skill 3
Sky Fall
to stun the enemy, then land a basic attack to pile on damage. - Dash with Skill 1
Pain on a Stick
the first time and basic attack, then dash a second time and basic attack again to maximize damage.
Note: when enemy heroes are standing close together, use Skill 3
Sky Fall
first to stun all of them before using your other skills.
Stay flexible with how you use your skills — just remember that after using any skill, you need to land a basic attack to trigger the enhanced attack.
How to Use Zuka's Skills Effectively
Skill 1
Pain on a Stick
:
- This skill can dash twice across terrain, so take advantage of it to chase enemies, escape dangerous situations, or simply move faster.
- After each dash, always land a basic attack to trigger the enhanced basic attack, which deals extra damage and range.
Skill 2
Panda Chariot
:
- This skill can also dash across terrain, so use it effectively the same way as Skill 1
Pain on a Stick
. - Land a basic attack after dashing to knock up the target.
- Try to land the dash on the target to deal them extra damage and gain a shield for yourself.
Skill 3
Sky Fall
:
- The ultimate can also dash across terrain just like the previous two skills.
- When landing,
Zuka
deals damage and stuns targets in an area, so aim it to hit as many targets as possible. - After jumping, land a basic attack to gain bonus range and damage.
How to Play Zuka in the Early Game
In the early game, if you’re jungling, start from the red buff first since
Zuka
doesn’t cost energy to use skills, and it’s more convenient for an early gank on the dragon lane.
Skillfully use your terrain-crossing dashes across jungle camps to maximize your jungle clear speed.
If you’re laning, quickly use Skill 1
Pain on a Stick
to clear the first minion wave completely, helping you hit level 2 before the enemy and creating an advantage to push your lane.
Once you’ve cleared the wave and there’s an opening, use your mobility to rotate to other lanes for an early gank.
How to Play Zuka in the Mid Game
By the mid game,
Zuka
becomes an extremely scary hero, with mobility and burst damage like an assassin while still being fairly tanky since he’s also a fighter at heart.
So to make the most of that, play very aggressively — continuously move to pick off lone enemies, push towers, open fights, invade the enemy jungle, and take Dragon and Caesar to maximize your team’s advantage.
The goal at this stage is to press the advantage deep into enemy territory to create a big gap between the two teams and end the match as soon as possible, since
Zuka
isn’t a strong hero if the match drags on.
How to Play Zuka in the Late Game
By the late game, the best strategy for
Zuka
is to push minion waves on multiple lanes to force the enemy to split up to defend, or simply take their tower outright.
When the enemy calls their team to gang up on you, don’t linger too long, since
Zuka
‘s damage at this stage is no longer enough to finish off a target quickly — use your mobility to escape and go push another lane instead.
When a full team fight breaks out, don’t rush in early, as you can easily get burst down — although
Zuka
is very mobile, his skill set has no crowd-control or damage immunity, so he can melt quickly if played too aggressively.
Wait for a teammate to open the fight first, and once the enemy no longer has strong crowd-control skills ready, quickly dive in to combo and finish off the enemy carry first, then clean up the remaining targets to close out the fight.
