• If you fall behind, build Blade of Eternity instead of Fenrir's Tooth .
• If the enemy team has multiple tanky heroes, build Fafnir's Talon instead of Omni Arms to optimize damage.

• Use Skill 2 Execution once to mark the enemy.
• If close to the enemy, use Skill 1 Death Sweep first then re-activate Skill 2 Execution to fly in.
• If far away, re-activate Skill 2 Execution to close in on the enemy, then use Skill 1 Death Sweep to deal damage and stun the target.
• Activate the ultimate Ultima and keep landing basic attacks while moving to stick to the enemy.
• If your health drops too low, re-activate Skill 3 Ultima to enter the undying state, then keep landing basic attacks continuously to burst damage while extending the undying duration.

Passive Doom Lord :

• Watch for the mark under the enemy’s feet when you attack them with a skill or basic attack.
• In every fight, land 4 hits to trigger the mark, dealing big damage and granting yourself a shield.

Skill 1 Death Sweep :

• Use this skill when the enemy is already marked by Skill 2 Execution to stun them; otherwise it will only slow.
• Try to keep landing basic attacks for 5s after Skill 1 hits any target to deal extra true damage.
• Take advantage of the damage radius to clear minions and monsters fast or attack multiple enemy heroes at once.

Skill 2 Execution :

• Aim carefully since this is a very important skill but has a fairly narrow effective range.
• Activate it a second time to close in on the target — you can also use it across terrain by targeting an object on the other side of a wall.
• Time the damage to finish off the enemy while diving in to instantly refresh the cooldown.
• You can also use it to check bushes while moving.
• Skill 2’s cooldown has increased by 1 second compared to before, so avoid using it carelessly just to check bushes or make small movements — save it to close in or escape at important moments, since your frequency of diving in has decreased.

Skill 3 Ultima :

• Time your damage precisely to re-activate the skill at the right moment, avoiding being killed before you can become undying.
• You can activate this skill to instantly escape any crowd control state, helping you outplay the enemy.
• Land basic attacks and use Skill 1 Death Sweep continuously while mounted to optimize bonus damage, and while dismounted to extend the undying duration.
• You can re-activate to dismount early when surrounded by multiple enemies to knock up several targets.

If you’re laning with Volkath , level up Skill 1 Death Sweep first and use its wide damage radius to clear minions fast to hit level 2 before the enemy.

If you’re jungling, start from the blue buff and pull the stag beetle close to attack both at once for a faster jungle clear. Try to complete your jungle route to reach level 4 as soon as possible.

After that, keep ganking continuously to take full advantage of this hero’s superiority. Target and hunt low-mobility enemy heroes like the enemy marksman or top laner to secure kills easily.

The mid game is when Volkath is at their strongest in the match, so play very actively, constantly pushing lanes and opening fights to snowball and end the game as soon as possible, or at least create a big gap between the two teams.

Just activate Skill 3 Ultima to dive straight into the enemy formation and wreak havoc, then re-activate to enter the undying state and escape the fight.

Doing this a few times is enough to cripple the enemy team, creating an advantage for your team in the late game.

By the late game, Volkath ‘s influence will diminish somewhat, so you need to be more careful diving into full team fights — never dive in without the ultimate Ultima ready.

Move with your team and wait for a good opportunity, then activate Skill 3 Ultima to charge straight at the enemy carry and find every way to take them down.

Be prepared to trade kills with the enemy — even if you don’t finish off the target, you’ll create an opening for your team’s carry to deal damage, also increasing your chances of winning the fight and the whole match.
