• If the enemy team has a lot of strong magic damage, build Medallion of Troy instead of Claves Sancti .
• If the enemy team has a lot of tanks, build Godslayer Bow instead of Claves Sancti .

Basic Valhein combo:

• Use the ultimate Bullet Storm to trigger the passive Pocket Glaive first.
• Keep landing basic attacks along with Skill 2 Curse of Death and Skill 1 Bloody Hunt to deal damage to the target.

Note: use Skill 2 Pocket Glaive wisely to chase, pin down a target, and escape.

Passive Pocket Glaive :

• Always land 3 or more basic attacks on a target to trigger a random dart with a special effect and gain bonus movement speed.
• Try to land basic attacks continuously to trigger the passive Pocket Glaive 4 times, activating hunter mode, which makes Valhein fire enhanced darts continuously for three seconds (Valhein’s damage to jungle monsters is reduced by 50%, scaling back based on hero level).
• The red dart creates a chain-attack effect that lets you hit multiple targets at once.
• The yellow dart stuns the target, helping you control them.
• The blue dart reduces the cooldown of all your skills.

Skill 1 Bloody Hunt :

• Use Skill 1 Bloody Hunt when you want to instantly trigger the special dart from the passive Pocket Glaive without needing a basic attack.

Skill 2 Curse of Death :

When heading to lane, level up Skill 1 Bloody Hunt and stack a red dart by basic-attacking the air, so when minions appear you can land your 3rd basic attack from the passive Pocket Glaive along with Skill 1 Bloody Hunt to clear minions faster.

In the early game, focus on farming minions for gold to build items, but don’t hesitate to trade skills with your opponent since Valhein is fairly strong early on.

When a fight breaks out, you can use Skill 3 Bullet Storm to instantly trigger 4 passive stacks Pocket Glaive for a big movement speed boost, helping you kite better in the fight.

By the late game, move with your teammates to be ready for the full team fight since you’re the main damage source.

Be very careful with your positioning, since Valhein has a low health pool and short attack range, making them an easy target for enemies.

Use Skill 2 Curse of Death wisely in the late game to preserve your life.
