Skud Gameplay Guide

How to Combo Skud

Basic Skud combo:

  • Activate Skill 2 Rampage Gauntlet to start charging up.
  • When the charge is almost complete, immediately use Skill 1 Rebel Gauntlet to charge into the target.
  • Keep landing basic attacks to trigger the enhanced attack from the charge while also dealing bonus magic damage from the passive Boiling Blood .

Use Skill 3 Wrathful Gauntlet wisely depending on the situation to knock back all targets around you.

How to Use Skud's Skills Effectively

Passive Boiling Blood :

  • Attack actively with basic attacks to deal bonus magic damage on every hit.
  • This passive gives this hero the highest health pool in Arena of Valor.

Skill 1 Rebel Gauntlet :

  • Use the terrain-crossing dash to close in and chase enemies, or to escape dangerous situations.
  • When you hit an enemy hero, keep landing basic attacks to make the most of the bonus attack speed, and also use Skill 2 Rampage Gauntlet for extra damage.

Skill 2 Rampage Gauntlet :

  • Use the strong movement speed boost from activating this skill to close the distance on enemies or flee dangerous situations.
  • Land a basic attack after charging to deal damage, slow the enemy, and get a reduced cooldown on Skill 2.

Skill 3 Wrathful Gauntlet :

  • Use the damage and knockback on all surrounding enemies to open fights and break up the enemy formation.
  • While charging you gain crowd-control immunity, so use it to dodge important enemy control effects.
  • When free, keep clearing minions and jungle monsters to recover the health lost from Skill 3’s passive.

How to Play Skud in the Early Game

Entering the match, if you’re jungling, eat the blue buff first for extra energy regen and cooldown reduction.

A tip is to start charging Skill 2 Rampage Gauntlet before the blue buff spawns; also pull the blue buff close to the stag beetle so the enhanced attack from Skill 2 Rampage Gauntlet hits both targets at once, making your jungle clear much faster.

If you’re playing Skud in a lane, try to move out early, hide in a bush to charge up, then rush out to attack the enemy for an early advantage.

Play aggressively to make the most of this hero’s outstanding power while putting maximum pressure on the enemy top laner.

How to Play Skud in the Mid Game

By the mid game, rotate lanes to support your teammates in pushing towers and taking major objectives like Dragon and Caesar to secure the buff advantage.

Always move at the front line of your team like a living shield, and when you spot an opening on the enemy carry, use Skill 1 Rebel Gauntlet to dash in, then use Skill 3 Wrathful Gauntlet to knock them back and break up the enemy formation.

Avoid chasing enemies too far and neglecting to protect your teammates — play like a tank and coordinate closely with your team.

How to Play Skud in the Late Game

By the late game, it’s best to always move with your team to be ready for the final team fight, and avoid roaming alone so your team isn’t forced to fight without a frontliner.

Keep moving at the front line to tank for your team, then charge in with Skill 3 Wrathful Gauntlet to control the enemy formation and let your team focus down the enemy marksman or mage, or at least keep disrupting them so they have no room to deal damage.

Handling the final team fight well can significantly boost your chances of winning both that fight and the whole match.
