How to Play Lumburr

How to Combo Lumburr

Basic Lumburr combo:

  1. Use Skill 2 Rampage to charge through the enemy.
  2. Cast Skill 1 Shattered Earth to knock the opponent into a bad position.
  3. Use Skill 3 Earth Splitter to launch the target for damage.

Depending on the specific situation, you should combo differently — for example, use Skill 3 Earth Splitter first if the enemy is clustered together, or use Skill 2 Rampage first to close in and increase your hit rate.

How to Use Lumburr's Skills Effectively

Passive Protect :

  • Try to move close when an ally engages in a fight to automatically buff them with double armor, and if that buffed hero secures a kill, Lumburr gets an assist even without doing anything.

Skill 1 Shattered Earth

  • Skillfully use its knockback to block an enemy closing in, push a low-health enemy toward your team, harass the enemy while farming…
  • Time it for when targets line up, then hit the first target so it collides and knocks back, damaging the target behind it too.
  • Use this skill to push an enemy jungle buff out of the pit while the enemy hero is farming it, causing it to regenerate health, slowing their jungle clear and frustrating them.

Skill 2 Rampage :

  • Use its terrain-crossing dash to chase, escape, or reach an ally to help them.
  • Aim it at enemy heroes with big damage to reduce the damage they can deal.
  • Dash to a position that sets up Skill 3 Earth Splitter well.

Skill 3 Earth Splitter :

  • Use your ultimate to open fights, break the enemy formation, and corner them in a fight.
  • Take advantage of its big, prolonged damage to contest objectives and clear minions from range very effectively.
  • While charging, combine it with Flicker to redirect your cast, catching the enemy off guard.

How to Play Lumburr in the Early Game

At the start of the match, move quickly to hide in the mid-lane bush to control vision and wait for an opportunity.

When you see the enemy mid laner push up, go behind them and use Skill 1 Shattered Earth to knock them back — this trick can help your team secure first blood or at least set the enemy back.

Then you can stay to help mid clear minions fast, or move into the enemy jungle to harass by pushing the buff they’re farming out of the pit, causing it to regenerate. Finally, return to lane to protect your marksman’s farm.

How to Play Lumburr in the Mid Game

By the mid game, if your team’s marksman is capable of farming independently, rotate to gank; otherwise, keep following and protecting your AD’s gold farming to prepare for the late game.

Depending on the situation, you can use the dash-in-and-knock-back combo, or dash back to knock away an assassin threatening your core damage dealer.

While the enemy’s core damage dealer isn’t yet particularly strong, you can also play like an assassin and combo to take them down when there’s an opportunity.

How to Play Lumburr in the Late Game

By the late game, focus on using Skill 3 Earth Splitter sensibly, since it has a huge impact on full team fights.

Try to pick a good position and land the skill on as many enemies as possible, putting them in a bad spot where they can neither advance nor retreat.

One more thing: Skill 3’s Earth Splitter cooldown is fairly fast late game, so you can use it a bit more often.

Then don’t try to chase the enemy — hold a frontline position instead to protect your core damage dealer so they can freely unload damage.
