How to Combo Dextra

Basic Combo

  • Saw Storm 1

  1. Use Skill 1 Saw Storm Saw Storm to speed up and close in on the target
  2. Then use the empowered basic attack on the enemy hero to deal bonus damage and slow the target
  3. Use Skill 2 Saw Cut Saw Cut and continuous basic attacks to deal damage
  4. Time it for when the opponent bursts you down, then use Skill 3 Demon's Gift Demon's Gift to heal yourself and keep attacking

During the combo, you can combine it with Sprint Sprint to speed yourself up and stop the opponent from escaping.

How to Use Dextra's Skills Effectively

  • Try to fight the enemy for a prolonged period, since the longer the fight goes, the stronger Dextra Dextra becomes thanks to bonus physical attack.
  • Hold down Skill 1 to charge it up.
  • Time the charge for when the enemy hero is about to burst you down, to absorb the damage you take.
  • As the charge is about to finish, move toward a low-health enemy hero so they’re at the very edge of Skill 1’s range, dealing all the absorbed damage back onto them.
  • Then basic attack once (this basic attack is empowered by Skill 1) to lunge in and finish off that enemy hero.
  • You can also charge this skill near bushes to reveal enemies hiding inside.
  • The saw blade drops on the target area, then spins back toward you, dragging targets along its path, so use it to clear minions fast while poking the enemy.
  • Each enemy hit by Skill 2 heals you for 2% of your max HP, and heroes heal you for an extra 3%, so try to prolong fights against the enemy, healing while building attack speed stacks from passive Blood Curse Blood Curse .
  • Aim it to hit as many enemies as possible for splash damage and more healing for Dextra Dextra .
  • Time it for when the enemy is about to burst you down to use this skill to absorb damage and heal yourself.
  • You can use this skill to tank turret shots, but note its duration is only 3 seconds, so retreat in time.
  • It’s best to use Skill 3 when Dextra Dextra ‘s health is below 80%.

How to Play Dextra in the Early Game

In the early game, Dextra Dextra is fairly weak compared to other top-lane fighters in both durability and damage.

For that reason, it’s best to hold a backward position and farm safely, using Skill 1 Saw Storm Saw Storm to remove slows and gain movement speed to retreat when attacked, especially when an enemy hero jumps out of a bush to gank you.

How to Play Dextra in the Mid Game

By the mid game, Dextra Dextra is a bit stronger, but not strong enough to play too aggressively.

Keep holding your lane when possible, and rotate to other lanes to join small skirmishes or attack Dragon and Caesar when there’s a chance.

By the late game, Dextra Dextra ‘s impact in fights is fairly limited since the enemy’s core damage dealer usually already has a life-saving item like Blade of Eternity Blade of Eternity , making it hard for you to finish them off quickly.

So save Skill 3 Demon's Gift Demon's Gift to prolong the fight and trade with the enemy’s core damage dealer if needed.

If possible, push lanes hard to create space to secure major buffs, making it easier to end the match.
