Erin
Introduction to Erin
▼Erin is a Marksman in Arena of Valor who can play the Dragon Lane or Mid Lane. What makes Erin unique is her hybrid penetration and lifesteal: she automatically uses whichever is higher, physical or magic.
Basic attacks build up Erin's energy, and when it is full she gets a sudden burst of speed and an empowered next attack. Golden Leaf Arrow fires an arrow that explodes into a slowing field, while Butterfly Leaf instantly refills her energy, grants slow immunity and boosts her attack speed. Her skills and full energy bars grant laurel marks; at six marks her ultimate, Laurel Leaf, unlocks and continuously fires golden leaves at the nearby enemy with the lowest health.
Her damage is high but she has almost no crowd control, average health and medium difficulty, so she needs to stay in safe positions and time when her marks are ready. Every part of Erin's guide is below: item build, Arcana, Enchantments, summoner spells, combos, skill usage and phase-by-phase play.

How to Play Erin in the Early Game
At the start of the match, focus on farming minions for your economy, since
Erin
gets strong once she has enough items and her full kit.
Level up Skill 1
Golden Leaf Arrow
first to take advantage of its wide-area damage to clear minions fast while poking the enemy hero.
Keep a good distance and spam your skills combined with basic attacks to farm, poke the enemy, and stack up Laurel points; when you see an opportunity, push forward to combo the enemy’s face for a kill.
How to Play Erin in the Mid Game
In this phase,
Erin
‘s power mainly lies in Skill 3
Laurel Leaf
.
Leave your lane to rotate continuously, coordinating with allies to gank, join small skirmishes, or attack Dragon and Caesar.
You can also pick off stragglers by stacking enough points for Skill 3
Laurel Leaf
then hiding in a bush waiting for the chance to strike,
but be careful not to wander alone too often, since
Erin
‘s health and mobility are fairly low, making her an easy target for hunting.
How to Play Erin in the Late Game
In the late game, play carefully with
Erin
since her range is fairly short compared to other marksmen along with low mobility.
The best strategy is to always stick with your allies to be ready for fights, holding a backward position in your team to unload skills and poke with basic attacks.
Wait for an ally to open the fight first, then if there’s an opening, push forward to burst the enemy’s core damage dealer with Skill 3
Laurel Leaf
, since diving in first will get you deleted quickly.
Play carefully, seize good moments to use your skills, and don’t forget to secure Tier-3 Dragon/Caesar to lead you and your team to victory.
